Color temperature - Why LED lights with higher color temperature improve motivation and alertnessNANHU

Color temperature is a parameter that is used to explain the temperature of an ideal light source that is emitting light. For traditional light sources that convert heat into light, this is simply the temperature of a source. For LED and fluorescent lights, it is not the temperature of the source because light is created by different physical and chemical processes and not by conversion of heat into light. For example, the light temperature of candle is 1850 K: for incandescent light bulb is 2700 K; for LED light is 5000 K; for the Sun is 5780 K. Since the color temperature of the LED lights is close to the color temperature of the Sun, LED lights can simulate daylight. While using LED lights, people feel more motivated for work and less sleepy. This can significantly improve productivity in industrial objects that are operational in night shifts.
