Use your urine to charge your phone

The scientists are working on a brilliant idea, charging a phone with urine. Your battery is dead, no problem, just urinate into your phone and the battery will start charging. This technology is using microbial fuel cells that can directly use urine to produce electricity. There are no practical applications of this technology yet, but there are some projects that will be based on collecting urine from the urinals and leading it into the microbial fuel cells. This technology will be particularly useful for camping and when you are in places where there is no electrical current available.

Lasers will be used to control weather in the future

Scientists are researching new methods that can be used to control weather. The first experiments have proven that lasers can cause ice formation and condensation in higher layers of atmosphere. The other possible usage of lasers is to distract lighting from sensitive buildings. Creations of clouds by lasers could be beneficial to the dry regions. Lasers could also be used to prevent rain during big outdoor manifestations. The promising new laser controlled weather technology could gain a momentum and lead to more predictable and controllable weather patterns in the future.

The future electronic implants will prevent obesity and help lose weight by suppressing apetite

Imagine a society without obesity and weight related problems. The researchers have made first steps in this area by creating an electronic appetite suppression device. The electronic appetite suppression device can be  lapparoscopically implanted and it can have a similar function as a pacemaker, with a difference that it will regulate the nerve vagus that is controlling the appetite. Although the first clinical tests showed only boosts weight loss by 9 percent, the future researches will certainly provide new methods to effectively control appetite, prevent obesity and lose weight.

Electronic tattoo on your neck will serve as a mobile microphone, lie detector and and digital display for your smartphone in the future

No more lies over the phone, the researchers have come up to a solution by using an electronic tattoo on your neck. The electronic tattoo transmits sound through a mobile microphone that will enable you hands free phone calling and a small digital display that will enable you to control your smartphone by touching your neck. Based on the fact that the electronic tattoo is placed on your neck, there will be no interference of the surrounding sounds and the voice output will be clear and perfect.  One more interesting feature of an electronic tattoo will be an integrated lie detector that will measure galvanic skin response. When telling lies, the galvanic skin response changes and it can be captured by the electronic tattoo. Electronic tattoos will certainly bring revolution to usage of smart phones, tablets and other mobile gadgets.

Password Pill - Eat it and unlock any device

The scientists are working on a new technology of password pills. The main idea is to swallow a pill with a microchip that dissolves in stomach acid and emits an EKG signal. As long as the pill is still in your body, you will be able to unlock any electronic device. In the future, the similar pill could also be used to unlock cars, doors and anything else. The pill has been tested for smartphones and it has been effective. The main idea is that it is a safe method that protects your passwords and makes you safe from hackers (because they don't know how to unlock the device since they are not familiar with this new technology). We could  certainly hope  for more improvements in this area.
